I am a full-time working mom with two young boys. When Covid hit and home schooling started it became impossible to care for our boys as well as work from home in a demanding retail fashion career. I could not find a way to balance without sacrificing something or someone. I decided that the best way to keep my family first, was to go back to my cooking roots. My dad was once one of the best chefs in New York City. In the early 80’s his restaurant was a hot spot for celebrities like David Letterman and The BeeGees. He passed on his authentic Italian infused Argentine recipes to his daughters.
Besides my love of Fashion, I had always dreamed of opening up a local craft Argentine empanada spot in Long Beach. Our delicious empanadas have always been raved about in our social circle, especially here on the West Coast where these empanadas are hard to come by. I always wanted to share the happiness they bring me and there doesn’t seem like a better time than the present. A “spot” doesn’t seem like the best idea at the moment, so how about I deliver them to you?
